...a bit of needed relaxation...

Below are photos from Rockport Beach. The beach was man-made and is pretty much a bay. The main beach was about ten minutes and a ferry ride away from Port Aransas which isn't too far from Corpus Christi. We will definitely be going to Port Aransas on our next visit. The sand at Port A is bright white and the waves are much bigger... Regardless, I was so happy to get back to the coast. Living on the coast all your life makes you miss it ALOT when you get stuck in the middle of Texas! It is so very relaxing and peaceful to me, just sitting in the sand looking out into the Gulf (of Mexico) or at the end of the pier during sunset. I can't wait to get back out there!!
