I miss the Pines, we don't have them here in Austin.

Pines are beautiful. It's the background details we seem to notice most when they're gone (actually it's the important stuff we notice most, but that sounded good so I'll leave it alone.)

Dayna, Thanks for the compliment. I do however have complaints about how this site compresses your files even when they are clicked on and opened in a seperate window. So my point is these pictures are way compressed compared to my originals. I am using at the moment a FujiFilm FinePix S5100 and am very very pleased with its performance. My first digital camera was a FujiFilm FinePix 1300. It was a 1.3 megapixel camera and took better photos than most 2 megapixel cameras out at that time. So I highly recommend Fuji digital cameras. Thanks again for the compliment, it felt really good.

Pines are very beautiful, I have one shot I'll post here shortly of a Pine right on the beach. One of a few still left standing after Hurricane Ivan hit. When you look at it (you'll see what I mean) it just amazes you at how resilient life can be.
